eBook community Wattpad has confirmed that an optimized version of its popular mobile application will be available on the Apple iPad when it becomes available later this year.
“No doubt Apple has created a game changer for ebooks,” said Ivan Yuen, CTO of Wattpad. “An iPad optimized version of Wattpad will be available when the iPad goes on sale in March.”
Wattpad has been available on the iPod Touch and iPhone since the beginning of 2009 and the describes rolling out support for the iPad as a “natural extension”.
