Xbox One to include top TV catch-up and on-demand apps

Some of the UK’s most popular TV and catch-up apps will be available on the new Xbox One console when it hits stores later this month.

Microsoft’s latest games console goes on sale on November 22nd and is being positioned as a full-on entertainment hub for the home with games, live TV, movies and music.

The new machine includes a Blu-ray drive, enhanced feedback in the gamepad triggers and upgraded Kinect camera sensor which now supports 1080p high definition resolution.

Among the apps on offer will be 4oD, Demand 5, Netflix, Lovefilm, Blinkbox and Now TV.
