YouTube now available on Sky’s NOW TV box

August 1, 2014 - Staff@seenituk

now_tv_boxSky has added a YouTube app to its popular NOW TV set top box.

In addition to Sky’s entertainment, sports and movie channels, the £9.99 box offers access to BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, 4oD and Demand 5, as well as the Vevo music video app.

The addition of a YouTube app means users can now watch videos from their subscribed channels as well as popular and viral hits.

Gidon Katz, Director of NOW TV, commented: ‘The NOW TV Box offers a huge range of entertainment options to be enjoyed on your own big screen. The addition of YouTube means there’s even more to discover and experience.

“With the flexibility to dip in and out of great movies, entertainment or sport with the relevant pass from NOW TV, catch-up TV and now videos from your favourite YouTube channels, it’ll be hard to find an excuse to leave the sofa.’
