The retailer announced its new Zinio Perks scheme in an email to customers, saying it would reward them with free ‘Z-Bucks’ for “every” 5th, 10th and 25th purchase.
Rewards cannot be redeemed against purchases made via apps or with payments made via PayPal.
Although Zinio has signed up Apple’s iTunes subscription service, the loyalty scheme appears designed to encourage shoppers to buy via Zinio.com rather than apps.
