Amazon has today confirmed that The Grand Tour, Jeremy Clarkson’s new series, will be streamed “globally” on its website from December.
The series, which reunites Clarkson with fellow former Top Gear presenters Richard Hammond and James May, launches on Amazon’s video streaming service this Friday, November 18th.
With Amazon Prime Video only available in the UK, US, Japan and Germany, the company was expected to strike deals with local broadcasters outside those territories to ensure other international fans could see the series.
However in a video posted on their Facebook page, the trio today announced Amazon would instead be streaming all 13 episodes of The Grand Tour from the Amazon website.
The announcement means fans “in over 200 countries” will be able to see the show.
Details on pricing will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
The Grand Tour will be available exclusively on Amazon Prime Video – including in 4K – from November 18th for anyone with an Amazon Prime subscription or standalone monthly subscription to the Prime Video service.
