November 22, 2019 - Staff@seenituk

John Krasinski and Wendell Pierce star in Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan on Prime Video.
BT is offering all new existing BT TV customers six months of free Amazon Prime Video, giving them access to shows such as The Grand Tour, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan and Amazon’s Premier League coverage this Christmas.

Existing customers will need to recontract to receive the deal which was launched alongside the addition of Alexa-enabled voice search to BT TV set top boxes which is rolling out to all users from today.

The feature allows hands-free searching for shows and films through any Alexa-enabled device, including Amazon’s Echo range and third party devices such as Sonos speakers and soundbars.

BT has also deepened its partnership with Amazon by offering customers the option to add the cost of Prime Video to the users BT bill, replicating its partnership with Netflix.

Pete Oliver, Managing Director of Marketing at BT Consumer, said: “With six months Amazon Prime Video on us offering access to even more Premier League matches, all in one place with integrated search and one simple bill – there’s never been a better time to be on BT TV.

“Amazon Prime Video also offers great TV and film, so there really is something for everyone this festive season”.
