A new deal between Channel 4 and UKTV will give fans of Jamie Oliver and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall the chance to re-watch some of their favourite cookery shows.
Multi-channel broadcaster UKTV has snapped up the rights to eight series including Jamie’s Fish Supper, Jamie’s 30 Minute Meals, multiple series of Fearnley-Whittingstall’s River Cottage, plus Nigella Bites, all of which will screen on its lifestyle channels.
In addition, UKTV shareholder Scripps Networks Interactive will relicense Jamie’s 15 Minute Meals for its Food Network.
Carl Pfeiffer, Channel 4’s Head of Distribution said: ”We’re delighted to conclude this deal for these great programmes with UKTV, with whom we have a successful and long-standing distribution relationship and also with Scripps, an ongoing partner for our food and lifestyle shows.”
