Discovery orders second season of Sarah Beeny’s Renovate Don’t Relocate

October 9, 2019 - Staff@seenituk

Sarah Beeny’s Renovate Don’t Relocate is returning for a second series which will once again see the homes guru help homeowners optimise their space with the help of technology.

Produced by Outline Productions, the series will launch free-to-air next year on Discovery’s home and lifestyle brand HGTV, following its rebrand from Home in early 2020.

Clare Laycock SVP Head of Lifestyle and Entertainment Brands, Discovery said: “As we countdown to the rebrand of Home to HGTV I’m incredibly excited to be announcing HGTV’s first original production.

“Sarah Beeny brings her enormous experience and sheer property royalty to homeowners who just can’t figure out how to make their homes work for them.

“The series will ensure HGTV gets off to a flying start in the UK – with the best stories, characters and home transformations from the best in the business.”

Laura Mansfield, Managing Director, Outline Productions said: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Discovery and working again with the UK’s favourite homes expert Sarah Beeny on season 2 of Renovate Don’t Relocate.

“The success of the first season demonstrates how audiences responded to Sarah’s advice and insights as well as the smart tech twist underpinning the show, which is making our format attractive to international buyers now.”
