With the weather turning grim we all appreciate the luxury of having a pizza delivered to the door, but what if you have nothing to watch while munching down your deep pan?
Who really wants to trek though the rain and cold and queue in the DVD rental store when they could be curled up on the sofa?
Domino’s Pizza has a solution and it’s one we like – the high street and online pizza firm has partnered with leading independent studio Lionsgate UK to offer a streaming movie service, giving customers instant access to films without venturing out.
The first of its kind, the Domino’s Pizza Box Office service is available from the firm’s main website and allows customers to pick from a range of films to enjoy on their desktop, laptop, mobile or tablet. Available films include the fittingly named The Hunger Games, What to Expect When You’re Expecting, Scream and Dirty Dancing.
Announcing the new service, Simon Wallis, sales and marketing director for Domino’s, said: “Everyone knows that pizza and film are a match made in heaven and with our new Domino’s Pizza Box Office, there are even more good reasons to stay in and watch a great movie while you enjoy a piping hot pizza.
“We pride ourselves on offering a vast choice when it comes to pizza and the same is true of Domino’s Pizza Box Office – whether you’re into action, horror or rom coms, there’s something for every pizza eating occasion. With us now delivering both the pizza and the movie, there’s never been a better recipe for a top night in!”
Guy Avshalom, COO, Lionsgate UK, added: “We are delighted to be working with Domino’s on this innovative new service and look forward to bringing our new releases and cult classics to pizza eaters in their homes across the country.”
