Last month BT introduced a new movie store to its YouView-based TV service, allowing movie lovers to buy a selection of new and classic hits including White House Down, Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained and The Amazing Spider-Man.
Now Sky’s CFO Andrew Griffith has announced the satellite giant to is follow suit and launch its own service in the coming weeks.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Griffith said the Sky Store rental service would be upgraded to also offer film purchases.
