Eleven Sports confirms UK and Ireland pricing

August 3, 2018 - Staff@seenituk

Eleven Sports has revealed pricing for its new UK service which will bring fans five international football leagues – LaLiga (Spain), Serie A (Italy), Eredivisie (Netherlands), Chinese Super League and Allsvenskan (Sweden) as well as the 2018 PGA Championship.

A 7-day trial will allow fans to watch all four days of the 2018 PGA Championship, which runs from the 9-12 August, for free after which a subscription will cost £5.99 per month (€6.99 per month in Ireland).

An ‘Early Bird’ annual subscription will also be available for £49.99 (€59.99 in Ireland) for those who sign up by Friday 31 August 2018.

Eleven Sports can be watched via the firm’s own website as well as via iOS and Android mobile and tablet apps.

While it claims to be “in discussions with other major platforms in the UK and Ireland,” the service has yet to announce carriage deals with BT and Sky, both of which it’s now competing against for sports rights, or Virgin Media.

“When fans subscribe to Eleven Sports through us they are getting pure sport, without any add-ons, bundles or contracts” said Marc Watson, Executive Chairman and Group CEO.

“We have built our business and our reputation in our global markets through our ‘For The Fans’ strategy that is underpinned by our accessibility and our engaging, localised approach that enables fans to get closer to the action.

“The highly competitive and flexible pricing plan that we have announced today supports this approach and provides excellent value for fans in the UK and Ireland.

“With Eleven Sports, fans get easy-to-access world-class sports action at an affordable price.”
