September 30, 2014 - Staff@seenituk

Strike_Back_title_2011Michelle Yeoh, Max Beesley and Tim McInnerny are joining Sky One’s action drama Strike Back for its final series.

The trio will join series stars Sullivan Stapleton, Philip Winchester and Robson Green. Regular cast members Milauna Jackson and Michelle Lukes also return.

Production of the 10-part final series is underway in Hungary with the series due to air on Sky 1 HD next year.

Cameron Roach, Acting Head of Drama, Sky said: “It’s fantastic to have Michelle and Max join the cast of Strike Back for its final season, which will be its biggest ever.

“Strike Back is the perfect show for Sky 1, its fast paced, quick witted and energetic.

“We’re privileged to work with Michelle in her first ever television role and it’s always a pleasure working with Max who is returning to the channel after the huge success of Mad Dogs.”

Michelle Yeoh said: “I’m delighted to be joining the cast of Strike Back and incredibly excited to be working with Sky and Left Bank. As an actor, it’s always challenging to try new things. She is a fascinating character and I can’t wait to play her.”

Max Beesley commented: “It is a pleasure to come and spend some time fighting it out with section 20 on Strike Back. The production values speak volumes and Sullivan and Phillip are guys I know and enjoy working with, along with the very talented Michelle Yeoh. The character Ray McQueen is an absolute gem to play.”
