Channel 4 has unveiled a new version of of its 4oD online catch-up service, adding a new ‘My 4oD’ service which allows registered users to create playlists and save favourites.
In addition to a 30 day catch-up window, 4oD also offers access to C4’s back catalogue of shows including hits such as The Inbetweeners.
The new version of 4oD goes live on Wednesday 31 August and the broadcaster says the new features will “significantly improve the discoverability of content”.
Head of VoD Sarah Milton says: “We have refined and optimised the design to ensure viewers get the best experience from the wealth of content Channel 4 has to offer.
“We have over 5,000 hours of archive programming available on the Channel4.com 4oD service, and the redesign makes it even easier for users to browse our offering.”
4oD service is available via Channel4.com, YouTube, Virgin, BT Vision, TalkTalk, PlayStation3 and a dedicated iPad app. An iPhone and iPod Touch app will be available from September.
