New Virgin Media mobile tariffs let customer switch plans every 30 days

November 25, 2014 - Staff@seenituk

virgin_media_logoVirgin Media has announced new flexible mobile phone tariffs which allow customers to switch plans every 30 days without penalty.

Taking a leaf from O2’s Refresh, the new plans move the cost of the handset to a separate 0% APR credit agreement, helping consumers understand how much of their monthly bill is going on airtime and how much on the device.

Airtime plans start at £5 per month for 250 minutes and 250 MB of data and can be bought with a choice of popular handsets, including the iPhone 6, the iPhone 6 Plus and the Samsung Galaxy S5.

By separating the cost of the handset from the airtime, customers will see their bills drop significantly when the handset cost is paid off.

In addition, customers will be able to upgrade their handset at anytime by paying off any outstanding balance on their credit agreement and taking out a new 24 month agreement for their new phone.

Annie Brooks, Director of Mobile at Virgin Media said: “Our new Freestyle contracts give people better value, more flexibility and greater control over the way they pay for their smartphone. We’re offering customers the facility to change their airtime to meet their changing needs.”
