Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange is the latest big name movie to arrive on Now TV, Sky’s contract free streaming service.
The film stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Stephen Strange whose life changes forever after a horrific car accident renders his hands useless.
When traditional medicine fails him, he travels to the remote Kamar-Taj in search of a cure, but instead discovers the mystical arts and becomes a powerful sorcerer battling dark forces bent on destroying our reality.
Joining Cumberbatch are Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Benedict Wong, Michael Stuhlbarg, Benjamin Bratt, Mads Mikkelsen and Academy Award winner Tilda Swinton as The Ancient One.
Now TV is available on Android and iOS tablets and mobiles, many smart TVs and various internet enabled devices such as games consoles and its own branded streaming box without a longterm contract.
The service offers a fourteen day trial period and Now TV sells some great value bundles which include both a set top box and a voucher for three or six months access to its entertainment channels.
These bundles offer great value compared to a standard monthly pass – Amazon are currently selling the three month Entertainment pack bundle for £18.69 and the six month bundle for £34.99.
Both of those prices represent a big saving on the cost of buying a monthly pass and they include a box which usually sells for £14.99 and lets you access iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4 and Demand 5 plus YouTube and Spotify
Even if you already have a way to watch Now TV on your big screen TV, this is a bargain way of adding it to a second or even third set in the home.
And film fans can also pick up a bundle offering 4 months access to Sky Cinema for under £25 – a whopping saving on the normal price of £9.99 per month.
If you already have a box and don’t want to fill your house with any more unused kit, there are also deals to be had on multi-month passes, including 5 months of entertainment channels for £25 – a £15 saving on the new £7.99 per month price.
