O2 and Game confirm Sony PlayStation 4 availability

playstation4Mobile network O2 says it will offer Sony’s PlayStation 4 in 65 O2 stores as part of a £52 per month bundle which also includes Killzone: Shadow Fall™, 12 months free access to PlayStation Plus service and a Sony Xperia Z1 with unlimited minutes, texts and 1GB data.

“Our bundle brings together the best of gaming and mobile this Christmas,” said David Johnson, General Manager Devices for O2 in the UK.

“We know our customers love to play and now they can enjoy brilliant gaming with O2, whether they’re at home or on the go. And with our O2 Refresh tariffs getting into the game is cheaper than ever before.”

Meanwhile GAME says it has secured “a limited supply of great bundles” including the Killzone Mega Pack which are available to purchase online now and at more than 300 GAME stores from midnight tonight on a first-come first-served basis.

Charlotte Knight, Category Director at GAME says: “Demand for PlayStation 4 has been phenomenal and we’re gearing up for an incredible launch with more than 300 stores opening at midnight. On top of all that, we’re delighted that we’re able to bring additional stock to the UK market and make a limited number of additional PlayStation 4  bundles available at launch.

“We’re expecting these bundles and all accessories to fly off the shelves and so if you want to get your hands on a PlayStation 4 at launch, you need to get online now or go to one of our stores from midnight!”
