Orange and Three to offer HTC Desire C

Two of the UK’s mobile networks have confirmed plans to offer the Android-powered HTC Desire C smartphone from next month

The handset features Beats Audio™ technology, making it a great choice for music lovers who want a stylish, feature-packed smartphone at an affordable price.

The Desire C runs Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and offers access to thousands of apps, games, music and movies through Google Play – the recently renamed Android Marketplace.

It is also deeply integrated with Dropbox and comes with 25GB of free online space for 24 months, offering users the ability to securely back-up, browse and share thousands of photos, videos and documents, whether stored locally or in the cloud.

Perfect for first time smartphone owners, the redesigned HTC Sense interface makes it easy for people to get to grips with the Android operating system”.

In a statement Orange said: “The handset will be available for free from £20.50 a month on a 24 month plan and for £169.99 on pay as you go. More details will be available on www.orange.co.uk in due course.”
