Orange has unveiled a new wireless router for its home broadband service.
The Bright Box wireless router, which will be supplied free of charge to all new customers, has a 250 metre range and supports advanced wireless ‘N’ technology and WPA 2 WPA 2.
Orange says the router has been designed to “be delivered through most letterboxes”, good news for those of us who prefer not to have our days wasted by Britain’s poor couriers.
The Bright Box wireless router features four 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports, a USB connection that enables users to connect content straight to their home network.
Sylvain Thevenot, Director of Marketing & Propositions, Orange Broadband said: “We’re constantly looking to evolve our home broadband offering to ensure our customers enjoy the best possible experience across multiple devices in the home – including smart phones using Wi-Fi.
“With this in mind, we’re pleased to be introducing the Bright Box, our most powerful wireless router to date – providing yet another reason why with Orange, you really do get the best value home broadband in the market.”
