80’s TV spy thriller The Equalizer is heading to the big screen this October with Denzel Washington taking over the role of Robert McCall, played in the original series by Edward Woodward.
In this updated version, McCall is a former black ops commando who faked his death to enjoy a quiet life.
But when he returns to action to rescue a prostitute from evil pimps, his actions cause the Russian mob to send rogue CIA agents to kill him.
Drawing on his experience and training, he battles against overwhelming odds, defeating his adversaries to become The Equalizer.
The Equalizer opens at UK cinemas on 10th October 2014.
