Ross Noble to compete in the Scottish Six Days Trial for new Dave TV series

Entertainment channel Dave has commissioned a new three part series in which bike lover Ross Noble takes part in the Scottish Six Days Trial, a legendary challenge where the best motorbike riders in the world come together to race a hundred miles each day in a true test of stamina, ability and willpower.

Ross Noble: All Torque sees the popular comedian train for the challenge with coach James Burroughs and cameras will follow his progress and reveal how he performs in one of the toughest sporting challenges known to man.

Ross Noble said: “This is one of the most technically difficult motorcycle challenges in the world – you have to ride for eight hours a day for six days on a bike with no seat.  But as I do stand-up as a job I’m hoping that will help!”

Iain Coyle, UKTV senior commissioning editor, commented: “We’re absolutely delighted to work with Ross again. He’s a fantastic bloke, a unique talent and, it turns out, pretty hardcore on two wheels.”

Dave general manager, Steve North, said: “Ross is a talent we all love here at Dave, and it’s hugely exciting to be working with the award-winning team at Grain Media.

“The combination of comedy, motorsport and endurance will be a gripping and entertaining take on such an awesome challenge.”
