Russell Howard returns to BBC Three this month for a brand-new series of his Good News show in which he’ll once again give his upbeat and entertaining take on some of the key news stories of the week.

The show debuted in October 2009 and has attracted audiences of up to 3.5 million viewers a week and is one of the popular shows on the BBC iPlayer.

Howard, who also stars on Mock The Week, is a favourite with BBC audiences and at Christmas his Dingledodies show was screened on both BBC Two and BBC Three.

The new series of Good News is one of two runs commissioned for 2011, the second will air in the Autumn.

Filmed in front of a live studio audience, the latest run might just have something to say about the Royal Wedding…

Viewers at home can shape the show’s agenda by submitting news stories online at bbc.co.uk/russellhoward and via Twitter @bbcgoodnews.
