Star Wars fans can now buy two special edition Steelbook Blu-rays, each offering one the George Lucas’ two epic space trilogies.
Available from Amazon.co.uk, Star Wars: The Original Trilogy Limited Edition Steelbook and Star Wars: The Prequel Trilogy Limited Edition Steelbook feature new cover artwork and a host of special features.
Both trilogies were previously released in a single Blu-ray collection in 2011 featuring more than 40 hours of special features including deleted, extended and alternate scenes, new documentaries and a selection of the countless spoofs that have appeared in pop culture over the past three decades.
The new Steelbook editions are likely to be the saga’s final Blu-ray release ahead of a new trilogy of films being helmed by JJ Abrams.
Written by Toy Story 3 writer Michael Arndt and Directed by Abrams, Star Wars Episode VII will be released in 2015.
