Here’s the second official trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens – the long awaited first instalment of the new Star Wars trilogy – and it’s a real pant-wetting ride!
Directed by J.J. Abrams, the film sees original trilogy stars Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker return alongside new cast members and characters.
In addition to the sequel trilogy, Disney has previously confirmed it’ll make a series of standalone Star Wars films written by Simon Kinberg and Lawrence Kasdan who worked on the scripts of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, the second and third instalments of the original Star Wars trilogy.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens gets a worldwide cinema release on December 18, 2015.
