TalkTalk says it has now passed the 1m subscriber mark for its YouView-based TV service.
The ISP said it added 185,000 TV customers in the three months ending 31st March 2014, ending the financial year with a TV user base of 917,000.
It has since seen growth continue, with “over 1m” customers as of 12th May.
More than a fifth of customers (21%) have added a paid-for TV boost to the base package and the firm says it saw a growth of 15% in the amount of on-demand purchases.
In a statement TalkTalk said: “We remain encouraged by the overall level of pay content take-up and its implications for incremental revenue growth in the future.”
TalkTalk’s overall customer-base stands at 4.2m, with the addition of 10,000 new broadband customers in the final quarter of the financial year.
It also recorded 24,000 new mobile connections and 35,000 fibre broadband connections, including upgrades.
Chief Executive, Dido Harding, said: “We have built a TV business with over one million customers in just 18 months – a quarter of our total customer base.
“We continue to grow faster than all the other UK TV operators put together and are confident that in time, all our customers will take TV.”
