TP-Link announces new 802.11ac dual band wireless router

ArcherC7TP-Link has announced the launch of a new 802.11ac dual band wireless router, the Archer C7, which is says will provide ultrafast speeds for enhanced connected homes and offices.

The device supports simultaneous wireless speeds up to 1300Mbps at 5GHz and 450Mbps at 2.4GHz and allows the sharing of files over WiFi as well as wireless shared printing.

As well as supporting the next generation of Wi-Fi devices, it’s also fully backwards compatible with 802.11b/g/n.

Eric Wang, Country Manager of TP-LINK UK said: “Homes increasingly require efficient connectivity, as consumers make use of a range of products over the Internet, for example: game consoles, smart TVs, Blu-ray players, networked desktops, tablets and smart phones, all at the same time.
