Just a day after Apple tore up their exclusive contract with O2 for the sale of their iPhone, the US giant has announced a deal with Vodafone.
News that Vodafone is to stock the handset from “early 2010” follows yesterday’s announcement that Orange is set to sell both the 3G and 3GS models despite widespread speculation that O2 would hold on to the newer 3GS version.
The A statement issued Tuesday morning Vodafone said they “have reached agreement to bring iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS to the UK and Ireland in early 2010.”
