Where to watch this weekend’s Ryder Cup?

September 25, 2018 - Staff@seenituk

This weekend marks the start of the Ryder Cup, the third of this summer’s big golfing events.

The action takes place at France’s Le Golf National and gets underway on Friday 28th September at 7.10am, with play ending on Sunday 30th September.

Where to Watch
In the UK TV coverage is exclusive to Sky Sports which, as well being available to Sky customers, can also be added to BT, TalkTalk and Virgin Media pay-TV packages, and is also available through Sky’s Now TV streaming service which is following up this summer’s great deal for golf fans with a special offer of just £12.99 (usually £33.99) for a one month, contract-free, Sky Sports pass.

Now TV is available via most Smart TVs as well as mobile apps, EE TV and its own range of set top boxes and streaming sticks.

In addition, coverage will be streamed on RyderCup.com for those watching on their tablets and PCs.

Who’s Playing?
Captains Thomas Bjorn and Jim Furyk have strong teams, including Thorbjorn Olesen Francesco Molinari, Justin Rose, Jon Rahm, Rory McIlroy and Alex Noren for Europe, and Tiger Woods, Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson, Justin Thomas and Patrick Reed for the US.

Betway Insider has been assessing the two teams’ performances over recent years, as well as each team members’ track record, to produce a run-down of ideal pairings.

What to watch out for
Will the US be able to triumph or will Europe’s 25 year unbeaten record on home soil survive the weekend?
