YouView updates iPhone and iPad remote record app

May 13, 2013 - Staff@seenituk

youview_app_may13YouView has updated its remote record and guide app for Apple’s iOS devices, bringing simplified navigation and support for the iOS VoiceOver accessibility feature to the app.

The updated app is available to download for free from Apple’s App Store and is compatible with all YouView set-top boxes.

Other features include easier access to the channel list when using the TV Guide and bug fixes to prevent a ‘Temporarily unavailable’ error message appearing.

Version 1.3.7 of the app will run on all iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad’s running iOS 5.0 or later.

Users running older versions of the app can download the update straight to their device by opening the App Store on your iOS device, clicking the Updates icon and tapping the Update button next to the app.

YouView says further updates to the iOS app and an Android version will be released later this year.
