Adrian Lester Leaves Hustle

The BBC have announced that Adrian Lester will not be reprising his role of team leader, Mickey Bricks, for the fourth series of Hustle.

According to a BBC statement his non-involvement is “due to a clash of filming dates” following “several offers for parts in US pilots”

“It is a shame that, due to his current filming commitments, Adrian cannot join us this time round but his new projects are a great testament to his talent and the success of Hustle in the US.”

Joining the cast for series four is Ashley Walters, star of critically-acclaimed film Bullet Boy and a former member of So Solid Crew.

Walters plays "e;Billy Bond, a street kid who has spent most of his formative years in and out of care homes"e; who is described as "e;a big fan of the infamous Danny Blue and is keen to join the crew in a bid to get off the streets"e;.

Walters says he was "e;incredibly excited about joining the gang"e;.

It’s a massive honour for me to be working alongside actors that I hugely admire, especially Robert Vaughn – he’s a legend! It’s really exciting but also absolutely terrifying!

Ashley’s previous credits include the films Get Rich or Die Tryin’, Storm Damage and the much talked-about Life and Lyrics.
