BT Sport and Sky Sports have announced the games they’ll show in the first two rounds of the new European Rugby Champions Cup.
The contest replaces the Heineken Cup which ended last year after English and French clubs threatened to walk away, potentially leaving the competition without its biggest teams.
Sky and BT both claimed to have the rights to cover the European tournament, BT through its deal with the English rugby premiership and Sky as the broadcast partner of the Heineken Cup.
The pair ultimately agreed to share the rights, with BT having first pick of matches featuring the English teams.
