BT is making its recently launched Complete Wi-Fi service available to new customers who sign up to a Superfast or Ultrafast broadband package.
As part of their package, customers receive a ‘disc’ which connects to their BT supplied Smart Hub 2 router to provide guaranteed Wi-Fi coverage throughout the home.
If this doesn’t give customers a strong signal in every room they’ll be sent up to two more discs free of charge, if these don’t provide a good signal in every room BT will give them £20.
Unlike similar products which create separate networks, each with their own network name, BT’s version provides a single wireless experience, meaning customers don’t need to remember multiple login details or switch network as they move around their home.
Complete Wi-Fi was previously available only to customers signing up to BT’s ‘Plus’ service but from today will be available with new Superfast Fibre Essential, Superfast Fibre and Superfast Fibre 2 plans for an additional £10 per month.
Pete Oliver, Managing Director of Marketing for BT’s Consumer business said: “A strong Wi-Fi connection throughout the home is so important for modern families, whatever they’re doing – whether it’s online gaming in the attic, homework in a bedroom, or streaming HD movies in the spare room.
“Complete Wi-Fi has been hugely popular for those on BT Plus, and we want even more customers to benefit from the very best connection in every corner of their home, so we’ve now also made it available to all BT fibre broadband customers.”
