First Look: Marc Warren as 'Cool Hand Luke'

June 19, 2011 - Staff@seenituk

Marc Warren stars in Cool Hand Luke
Mad Dogs and former Hustle star Marc Warren is heading up the cast of the stage adaptation of Donn Pearce’s acclaimed novel ‘Cool Hand Luke’ and we have a great in-character picture of Marc to share with you.

The play opens at the Aldwych Theatre on Monday 3 October with previews from the 23rd September.

The drama tells the hard-hitting story of a World War II veteran turned convict and rebel, whose unquenchable spirit and refusal to be broken by the system becomes part of his fellow convicts’ mythology of survival.

The novel was written by Pearce after a spell in a Florida prison camp where the conditions were brutal and included hard physical labour on the chain gang.

More details are available on the official site or Facebook page.
