Hiking series Walks Around Britain launches own-brand SVOD service

Popular outdoor series Walks Around Britain, which airs on 19 UK channels and internationally, is launching its own subscription video on demand (SVOD) service.

The series has built up am army of fans for its guided short (2-8 miles) walks through some of the nation’s most eye-catching locations and is now looking to boost engagement with its own platform.

Subscribers will get access to a new episode each month, every edition from past series in HD, exclusive interviews and advice videos, plus every Walks Around Britain podcast before they go on iTunes

The SVOD service is powered by Vimeo’s VHX platform and launches with a wallet-friendly annual subscription of $36.00 or $5.99 monthly.
