Humax launches new media streaming set top box

Humax has expanded its growing line-up of smart devices with the launch of a new media player providing easy access to streaming services such as Netflix, YouTube and TVPlayer, as well as Freeview channels via an optional aerial connection.

The H3 Espresso connects to the TV’s HDMI port and includes both Wi-Fi and Ethernet internet capability, allowing it to be used anywhere in the house or even moved between rooms.

Included in the purchase price is a two month trial subscription to TVPlayer which offers 25 popular video-on-demand channels, including HISTORY, Lifetime, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, Discovery, Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2, and National Geographic Channel.

Owners of HUMAX’s FVP-4000T Freeview Play PVR can also stream recordings from that box to the H3, as well as live or recorded content from the recently-launched Humax Eye HD Cloud Camera.

In addition, Android users can view apps and media files from their smartphones, tablets or laptops.
