Jamie Bell’s Turn: Washington’s Spies gets April DVD release

americas_spies_900Jamie Bell and Burn Gorman star in Turn: Washington’s Spies, a new period drama based on the true story of four childhood friends who formed a spy ring that affected the Revolutionary War.

Fearing for the future nation his son will come to inherit, Abe decides to band together with a group of likeminded men to infiltrate the British ranks and shatter their grip on the New World.

Facing peril at every turn and with his nation’s fate hanging in the balance, Abe will come to learn that freedom comes at a price.

The cast also includes Seth Numrich (Private Romeo, How To Kill A Mockingbird) as a member of the Washington Army, Ben Tallmadge; Kevin McNally (Pirates Of The Caribbean Saga, Downton Abbey) as Judge Richard Woodhull; Daniel Henshall (The Babadook, The Snowtown Murders) as American thrill-seeker Caleb Brewster; Heather Lind (Boardwalk Empire, A Single Shot) as one of Abe’s closest friends, Anna Strong; Meegan Warner (Portend, A Place To Call Home) as Abe’s wife Mary Woodhull and Samuel Roukin (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, Bright Star) as Lieutenant John Graves Simcoe.
