New Freesat Freetime set top box from Humax goes on sale

freesat_freetime_humax_900_2Humax has released a new “compact and affordable” Freesat set top box (STB) for the free-to-air satellite platform’s Freetime catch-up service.

As well as 200 subscription-free channels, the service includes on-demand content from BBC iPlayer, ITV Player and YouTube plus a selection of new and archive films from Curzon Home Cinema.

The new HDR-1100S STB, which offers integrated Wi-Fi for easy connection to the internet, comes in a glossy black or white finish and is available in 500GB, 1TB and 2TB models. Prices start from £189.
