Mobile network Orange will offer the third generation of Apple’s iPad from March 16th.

Apple announced the revamped iPad earlier this month, adding a higher resolution display and support for faster mobile internet technologies.

The 16GB version is available from £25 per month on a 24 month contact with an upfront cost of £199 for existing customers and £229 for new sign-ups.

The plan includes 1GB of data, 1GB of “quiet time” data for use between Midnight and 4pm and BT Openzone WiFi

“New iPad customers will benefit from the widest 3G coverage in the UK and, with our advanced 3.5G roll out, they will also benefit from a really fast network” said Pippa Dunn, consumer chief marketing officer, Everything Everywhere.

“As a result, we’re definitely the number one place to go for those wanting the best all round performance on their new iPad”.
