Sky is creating1,000 new UK based job, including 500 at a new call centre in Leeds, to help it meet growing customer demand.
The firm is also boosting its existing 3,500 strong engineer team by a further 500 to help speed up installations of its Sky Q set top boxes.
The new roles will see Sky’s UK and Ireland employee base grow to 25,000 employees – an increase of nearly 5%.
