The Muppet Christmas Carol is returning to cinemas this Christmas

The best Muppet movie of all time is returning to cinemas this Christmas, giving fans a chance to relive Michael Caine’s guest-starring role as Scrooge opposite a cast which includes Kermit the Frog as Bob Cratchit and the Great Gonzo as an unlikely Charles Dickens.

Park Circus are delighted to be bringing Walt Disney Pictures and Jim Henson Productions’ 1992 classic The Muppet Christmas Carol back to the big screen this Christmas.

In a very special twenty-fifth anniversary celebration, it will show at selected Cineworld, Picturehouse and selected independent cinemas across the UK and Ireland from 4 December.

Brian Henson directed his late father’s creations in this adaptation of Charles Dickens classic Christmas story which seems the bright, playful adaptation of the sombre tale soon settle into mirthful memories and a sense of melancholy as the ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future take Scrooge on a journey of his lonely life.

Screenings will take place from 4 December at cinemas across the UK and Ireland, continuning throughout the Christmas season.
