Three fun game show Slots you need to play

November 8, 2019 - Staff@seenituk

Slots are one of the most popular games to play in an online casino. The simplicity of playing for Daily Jackpots is perfect for many players, but for some gamblers, they’re looking for something extra. TV game shows have often been connected with online casinos, watching other people win on television allows the audience to see that they have a chance of winning – as long as they know the answers.

Game show Slots have been developed to mimic the shows we watch on TV, giving us a sense of nostalgia and familiarity with the game we’re playing. Although there are plenty to discuss, here are some of the most popular online slot games, inspired by game shows.

Deal or No Deal

There are a few variations of the Deal or No Deal slot game, but the one we’re going to look at is the most popular – Deal or No Deal Double Action. Brought to you by Blueprint Gaming, this slot is based on the popular Channel 4 game show, Deal or No Deal.

One similarity between the TV game show and the online slot game is that in both you are trying to win the top Big Money prize that’s on offer. To win it on the slot, you need to be betting big and hope the 96.57% RTP (return to player) is on your side.

The £100k Drop

Another popular game show on Channel 4 and hosted by woman’s idol Davina McCall, The £100k drop is very intense. Players receive all of the money at the start of the game but to keep it, they have to place bets on their answers to multiple-choice questions.

In its online alternative, the main game isn’t like the game show, but the bonus game is. Players start the bonus game with 2,000 times their bet. They then place the lump sum of money on different suitcases which over time drop and take the money with them. With each round that passes, there are fewer suitcases to bet on, so you have to be careful where you place your bets.

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?

The British game show of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire has been around for decades with a recent revamp hosted by Jeremy Clarkson. Contestants are selected at random from the audience after correctly guessing the opening question. They then answer 15 questions with each correct answer earning them more money.

The initial game stage resembles a typical slot game, but by landing on three or more scatter symbols (the Millionaire logo) you can activate the free spins feature. You can keep your free spins or gamble them by choosing option A, B, C or D – as you would in the game to a reach the next level of money. Like the TV game show, you can use your lifelines, by ‘asking the audience’ or ‘phoning a friend’ you will get a percentage as to how likely each answer is correct, but choosing the ‘50/50’ lifeline, you can remove two wrong answers.

There are many online slots to choose from, but if you choose a game show themed slot, you get the familiar exciting setting you love watching on TV. Will you make a deal with the banker? Will you bet your entire winnings on one answer or will you be the next ‘millionaire’? You’ll be on the edge of your seat seeing if you’re as skilled as those who play on the real game shows.
