UK's first pre-pay Android handset goes on sale

T-Mobile’s pre-pay ‘Pulse’ handset – the UK’s first pre-pay Android mobile – goes on sale in T-Mobile stores across the UK today.

Priced at £179.99, the Huawei built mobile includes a 3.5” colour touchscreen, trackball navigation and 3.2 mega pixel, auto-focus camera.

Nicola Shenton, Acting Head of Handset and Device Marketing at T-Mobile UK said: We’ve had a huge amount of interest in the T-Mobile Pulse since its unveiling a month ago. The high spec and pay as you go price point makes it a really compelling offer. And as it’s the only Android phone that can be bought without a monthly contract , we think it will be the must-have mobile Christmas gift this year.”

The T-Mobile Pulse costs £179.99 on pay as you go, and £30 per month on a 24-month contract (1000 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited internet). Internet on your phone is available for pay as you go users for just £5 a month or £1 per day with a T-Mobile Internet Booster.
