Godzilla is getting another reboot, 16 years after the franchise’s last US-made film failed to win over audiences.
The new film is directed by Gareth Edwards and stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Bryan Cranston, Juliette Binoche, David Strathairn, Sally Hawkins and Ken Watanabe.
It was produced by Legendary Pictures and will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures worldwide except in Japan where it’ll be distributed by Godzilla owners Toho.
Godzilla is scheduled to be released on May 16, 2014 in 2D and 3D.
