Video: Tim Cook talks iPad, Steve Jobs and Apple TV

Apple CEO Tim Cook has been made his first major appearance at a non-Apple event yesterday when he took to the stage at the D: All Things Digital conference.

Speaking to the website’s Kara Swisher and Walt Mossberg Cook said he had “leant a lot” from Jobs and said the Apple founder’s death was the “saddest day in my life”.

While not revealing details of any future projects Cook spoke about the impact of the iPad and his “intense determination” to take maintain Apple’s “culture of excellence”.
