Digital TV channel five life is to be renamed ‘fiver’ from the end of this month parent company five have announced.
From the end of April the channel is expected to roll out a new on and off air look and offer a mix of established programming and brand new shows including exclusive commissioned shows.
Programme highlights include documentary series Hidden Lives which unearths some of the most incredible real-life human interest stories from around the world, the US action packed series, Ocean Force following the work of US lifeguards and coast police and the acclaimed Courteney Cox drama, Dirt.
Director of Programmes for fiver and Five US, Hannah Barnes, said: “I’m delighted to be able to announce this exciting new line up of commissions and acquisitions for fiver. Each one is a brilliant addition to the refreshed fiver schedule.
