Sky broadband launches new money back WiFi guarantee

September 4, 2019 - Staff@seenituk

Sky has launched a new WiFi Guarantee for broadband customers, promising them “a strong, uninterrupted WiFi signal in every room” or their money back.

Included a £5 a month ‘Boost’ package, the WiFi Guarantee includes a daily proactive check of broadband line speeds, plus engineer visits, including evenings and weekends, at no extra cost.

Sky Mobile customers who add Boost will also get 2GB of data in their Sky Mobile Piggybank if their broadband fails.

Sky Broadband Boost with WiFi Guarantee will be available from 6th September and can be added to any Sky Broadband packages. Existing customers will need to enter a new 18-month contract.

“WiFi Guarantee reflects Sky’s commitment to innovation and technology that matches our customers’ evolving connectivity needs” said Aman Bhatti, Head of Propositions, Sky.

“The need for fast and reliable broadband that reaches every room is more important than ever before – but as you can’t physically see your WiFi signal, it can be difficult for most people to understand what makes it stronger or weaker.

“Our WiFi Guarantee, combined with the new Sky Hub, genuinely guarantees a strong signal in every room of the house – strong enough to stream movies and TV from Sky Go and Netflix – or your money back.”
